About the Classes

 

Senior Workout (Instructor: Will)

 

Focuses on breathing, stretching, range of motion and meditation. It is done in chairs or standing. There is no floor work. Will introduces Medical Qi Gong exercises.

 

Tai Chi (Instructor: Will)

 

Tai Chi is defined by the Chinese as the “Ultimate Supreme Force”; it is also described as “Stillness in Motion”. This powerful meditative force is touted by the Mayo Clinic as one of the best ways to deal with stress. The Yang Family short form will be introduced by Will. Tai Chi 1 is for beginners. Tai Chi 2, offered offers further instruction for those continuing their practice.

 

Kickboxing (Instructor: Toni)

 

Taught at different levels simultaneously, so both beginners and advanced students can take the class at their own pace.

 

Pilates (Instructor: Rachel)

 

A strong core is an essential part of optimal physical health. Like kickboxing, this class is appropriate for both beginners and advanced students, as you can modify your practice to fit your current level.

 

Move & Groove (Instructor: Will)

 

This fun, music filled class now includes a combination of pilates floor work. This extends the class to 45 minutes in length.

 

Belly Dancing (Instructor: Mary)

 

An introduction to primary wave motion and beginning belly dance moves. Strengthen your body as you cultivate inner beauty, grace and creativity with this ancient women's art form.

 

Yoga (Instructor: Cheryl)

 

Strengthen your body and gain greater inner focus in this ancient practice.

 

Restorative Yoga (Instructor: Cheryl)

 

Shed the week’s stress away and recharge your spiritual battery with this gentle yoga practice.

 

Inner Moves (Instructor: Mary)

 

Combines self-healing floor exercise with easy to follow steps, natural dance movement, and fun world beat music! De-stress, energize, and move more freely. Mary Salomon, M.S. has over 25 years experience in fitness, Middle Eastern dance, and movement therapy.
